Hi Matthias!

When You´re using both the wide and narrow connector
on Your host-adapter, make sure the adaptors internal
termination is OFF and the scsi-devices termination are ON.
(The chain needs to be terminated in both ends to work
correctly). Also note that if You plan to use an external
device, this might not be possible; most wide-narrow
adapters does not support this with both the internal
channels in use. :-( I only know of the Adaptec 2940U2W,
but there might be others though). ;-)
