FWIW, we've a PM3334UW running an external DPT RAID box and a PM2144UW
in out main box here (the 2144's just running a scanner though). No
conflicts.

The 3334 and external DPT raid box does seem sensitive to the SCSI bus
speed though - are you running at 10 or 20MHz?  the latter has been
known to cause problems and 'downgrading' to 10MHz might help.
