I am trying to get linux to recoginize the adapetc 1520B scsi card.
I'm running Red Hat 5.1 (2.0.34) that was installed before I bought the
scsi card.

The port I/O address is 0x140, the irq is 11, and the bios address is CC000h.

The boot process shows nothing about the card and shows "scsi : 0 hosts".

I have checked the proc/interrupts and /proc/ioports files and do not see
any conflicts.

I have added the following line in /etc/lilo.conf.:
append="aha152x=0x140,11,7,1".
The think that the format for the append statement is as follows:
(driver, io address, irq, device address, ????) not sure what the last
parameter is.

Does linux have built in support for this card or is there some driver or
module that I need.

The documentation from Red Hat's web site said that the card has Tier 2
support which means that it will work but they do not support it. (I think)

I do not have anything hooked to the card at this time. I have a drive
from a AT&T sysv system that I have to get some information from. (thats a
whole nother story)

Thanks in advance.
