Hi all!
Well, i've gotten in my linux system now, but when I wanted to patch
my linux version 2.0.34 (redhat 5.1) to 2.0.35, it gives some errors.
Well, 2 actually. In both cases it can't find a file which is supposed
to be in a asm directory. I'm patching from /usr/src. I just continued
patching the kernel, because I thought that it maybe was the intention
to miss those files. (however I had my doubts)
The steps I took were:
1)-make config
2)-make dep
3)-make clean
4)-make zImage
With step 4 it gives a whole bunch of error messages. It can't find
all kinds of stuff.
Can anyone help me with this? I know it is of topic, but i'm
trying to get an aic7890 working, and you are the people who have more
experience with this kind of things (I'm just a newbie).
Or am I patching wrongly?
Ciao!
