Hi!

I still have the aic7xxx-driver problem with the new kernels (2.1.125,
2.1.126). While booting, the driver scans all scsi-id's and fins my
Segate Barracuda at id 0. Then I get a lot of time-outs while the driver
tries to scan the other id's. My boot-device is a scsi-drive, so I
cannot try the driver as a module. Maybe this is a smp-problem because
nobody complained about that on the scsi mailing-list yet. I have
updated the BIOS and checked the termination, this did not help.
(2.1.124 works fine!!)

This is my System:

Asus P2L97-DS Board

(scsi0) <Adaptec AIC-7880 Ultra SCSI host adapter> found at PCI 6/0

Hope someone finds the problem...

Matthias
