HI
I am just starting to put my linux ( redhat 5.1 ) box as a disk file server
and i am not happy whith the performances I got
when I do a dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=1024k count=100 I cannot outperform
6 to 7 Mega byte / second were I expected at least 12 ( results of a sun )
or even more 20 or 30
Does somebody have such figures on raid 0 system ?

also would like to have feedback about the aha2940u2w and kernel 2.0.35

thanks
eric
