Hello.

I've got an Asus P2B-LS Motherboard with an on-board
Adaptec AIC-7890 SCSI adapter. I've got my HD, an AtlasIII connected
to it.

The problem is that no Linux distribution I've tried to install
detects it, and because the adapter isn't detected, I can't
install Linux on my HD.

I've tried Redhat 5.1, Slackware .35 or something, Debian 2.0 and
S.u.S.E 5.2 but none of them worked.

How can I get Linux to detect my SCSI adapter?
Do I have to pass some parameters? Because I don't have to pass
any parameters under DOS/Win at all.

Hopefully someone can help me with this.

Ciao!
