Hi there,

if you got an AM53C974 based PCI SCSI host adapter, e.g. Tekram DC390(T) or
DawiControl 2974, then please test my latest driver: dc390-120t3
You can find it on
ftp://student.physik.uni-dortmund.de/pub/linux/kernel/dc390/

The driver has a lot of bug fixes and enhancements.
* Support for "scsi add-single-device x x x x" syntax
* Supports all AM53C974 adapters
* Dynamic change of driver settings
* Special commands: RESET driver
* Bug fixes
Please read the included README file. There are more interesting things ...

I have got a number of reports till now (one reporting failure, though) and
I'd like to have this driver in 2.0.36 and 2.2.0 kernels. Maybe a few more
people can report on it.

I've been told, that SuSE-5.3 ships with dc390-120r2 and a couple of reports
have come from that release. Most of those were complaining about trouble.
All (but one) have been solved by 1.20t2, so far.

I will make a final release in a few days and send it to Linus and Alan.

Please report any success or failure to me.

Regards,
