I would suggest an IBM drive from the DCAS series. These are not the very
fastest drives available as they are only 5400 RPM drives, but they are not
slow either because of IBM's leading data density. My 4.3 GB DCAS drive
gives me better numbers with test programs than my old 7200 RPM 4.1 GB
Seagate Barracuda. They are also low power and do not require additional
cooling (as the Barracuda DEFINITELY does). I currently have a 2.1 GB DCAS
and a 4.3 GB and am very pleased with both. The 4.3 GB IBM DCAS is
currently selling for $225-250.

Harvey
