The following line in lilo.conf has the desired effect in 2.0.35
append = "linux hdc=ide-scsi"
which is to get the ATAPI cdrom on /dev/hdc to be visible via
the scsi sub-system.
However on 2.1.122 it is an illegal option. Is there another way
of doing this?
