Is the Slackware CD set the most commonly used Linux system? I realize
that probably no one has done a survey but usually people
have an idea of which Linux is generally more popular.
Also does anyone know of a new setup utility , not the
setup which came with the Slackware set but produced later
and not yet included on the CD's?
Just for information (Like we need more!!??)
My system is Adaptec 1520
Connor 1GB
Chinon CDrom
Quantum 535mb
AMerican Megatrends Bios
The problem holding up installing The Slackware set is
that the CDrom times out . I do have the SCSi Howto but
still haven't nailed down the cause of the failure.
Thanks in advance. I just found this group so Im sure
someones already solved many problems and I've not read
the post which addresses my particular problem.
