I would place my bet on the latter, as the BIOS on this machine
has always been a bit flakey. Requires a cold boot to come up correctly,
warm boots rarely work. Also pauses for a very long time (30+ seconds)
after the BIOS check before it boots the OS. This was one of the earlier
boards with PCI Busmastering support, so things may be a bit wierd because
of it. Once up, though the machine is rock solid (24x7 for weeks often).
Also, after looking up some information on this card, it appears
that there is only a limited number of motherboards that support it. My
board was not on that list. This card is really more like a scsi daughter
card for the motherboard then a full fledged PCI SCSI host. :(
Anyway, I have decided it is a lost cause, and am planning to sell
it off. Thanks to everyone for their help!
