Hi,

I'm preparing to build a Linux SMP machine and I was considering the
Tyan S1836DLUAN Thunder 100 board. It is based on the Intel BX chipset
and it has an Adaptec AIC-7895 dual channel FastWide SCSI on board as
well as Creative Vibra 16XV sound and Intel FastEthernet.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this board under SMP
Linux. What is the most stable kernel to use with this board? Is there
any other board you would recomand?

I'm planning to run a SCSI RAID on this machine. Which drives do you
recomand for best performance?

Thanks for any input on the above!
