I have an Adaptec ava-2825 host adapter which is a combo scsi-EIDE
card working with a 6xi NEC cdrom in DOS and windows. At present I am running
linux version 1.2.8. which I boot using LILO from a floppy. During the boot
process, linux does not read the host adapter, i.e., I get the "scsi dev: 0"
message. Any solutions other than get a different host adapter?
