the minor numbers/drive letters are assigned according to the
SCSI ID Number (hardware setting)(IIRC low to high). If you change the
ID's of your SCSI drives the letter assignment will change also.
(NOT ID 0 is a ID 1 is b --- Only the used Id's count).
I don't know If you can override the assignment by some boot statement.
But if you can change the ID's it will work.
