Leonard, thanks for the help my scsi HDD works with my sound card in the
computer, because I changed the dip switch on the buslogic scsi adapter
card. Now the problem i have is with my sound card...i get the
following error...
sb: Interrupt test on IRQ5 failed - device disabled
This happens when I load the sound module...my interrupts look like this
[root@sciencenet /root]# cat /proc/interrupts
0: 116998 timer
1: 5197 keyboard
2: 0 cascade
3: 15864 + serial
4: 16925 + serial
11: 1104 + BusLogic BT-542B
13: 1 math error
14: 6340 + ide0
15: 43 + ide1
Is this problem common with using sound card and scsi adapters together?
I haven't heard of this before, so I doubt it's a common problem. I'm afraid I
have little experience with sounds cards, so cannot be of much help about this
problem.
Leonard
