Hi!

First of all, which distribution are You using?
There are usually excellent bootdisks to be
collected on their respective home-pages.

I´ve used Slackware for about 3 years and I´m
quite happy with it, and on the ´ftp.funet.fi´-server
You could locate the aha2x4x.s. in the
/pub/Linux/images/slackware/bootdsks.144
This one ought to work; I booted an Adaptec 2940UW with it just
Yesterday. ;-)

Good Luck!
Henrik
