First of all, which distribution are You using? There are usually excellent bootdisks to be collected on their respective home-pages. I´ve used Slackware for about 3 years and I´m quite happy with it, and on the ´ftp.funet.fi´-server You could locate the aha2x4x.s. in the /pub/Linux/images/slackware/bootdsks.144 This one ought to work; I booted an Adaptec 2940UW with it just Yesterday. ;-) Good Luck!
