Good afternoon,

I've just finished porting my Ordered Scsi Detection patch from 2.0.3x
to 2.1.107. It will be served upon request ... ;o)

The patch lets you decide the order the scsi-host adapters is
initialized. This gives you much finer control in deploying your
boot-disk ("Well, why won't my machine boot? I just added this new
data-disk to my aic7xxx-controller ... That couldn't possible
interfere with my boot-disk on the eata-host, could it?" Oh yes it can
- talking from experience!)

I know Mr. Gooch has done similar work, but it was easier for me to port
my patch (and it was more fun too! ;o)

Best regards,

Brian
