aic7xxx problem with 2.1.105

Hello,

Just a brief problem report.
Adapter: AHA2940 BIOS v1.23
Machine: IBM PC i586.
Kernel: 2.0.34 is fine.
Kernel: 2.1.105 goes in a loop resetting the adapter.

Here is what 2.0.34 says about my scsi:
