I updated my system last Saturday from 2.0.33 to 2.0.34. I ran into one
problem that I was unable to resolve - my Exabyte 3505XL SCSI tape drive
failed to be recognized by the operating system.

In order to insure that the problem was related to the operating system
itself, I decided to revert back to the older kernal (2.0.33). The SCSI
tape drive came up and worked without a problem.

I currently have an Adaptec 2940 with an Exabyte 8mm tape drive (3505XL).
