Yes, it's supported in standard kernels (2.0.*)
I have installed both Fast-SCSI-II 8 bit wide, 20Mhz) and Ultra-Wide SCSI
(16 bit wide, 20Mhz). No problems at all.

As SCSI-HOWTO is unmantained :-( I think the best way to check this out is
to download lastests kernels and see it in the config screens/readmes
