ok, i need help bad, and quick, because i only got about a week left to return my cd burner if i cant get my scsi card to work
its a siig scsi2 pci pro bus master
i need to know what drivers i need to run it in linux, because the company isnt helping me AT ALL
the card claims adaptec compatibility, but when i insmod'ed driver modules for all types of adaptec cards, none of the work
and for the generic ncrblahblahblah driver, it detects it (i think) but it says scsi bus busy, attempting abort
then my comp freezes
any help at all would be greatly appreciated, and never buy anything from siig, theyre support is awful
