im having a problem with my siig fast scsi 2 bus master adapter
linux just wont find it
it claims 100% adaptec compatability, but yet when i compile all the adaptec drivers into both 2.0.33 and 2.1.101, i cant get past scsi0: bus busy, waiting 5 seconds and scsi0:bus busy, attempting abort
my computer just hangs
connected to it i have a teac r55s cd burner, terminated properly
there are no irq conflicts (the card is pci btw)
im waiting for a reply from the company, but companies will be companies......
any help would be greatly appreciated
