I am currently experiencing something really weird with LILO.
I have a 486 with a Buslogic BT-542B ISA SCSI Host Adapter.
I am running linux kernel 2.0.33.
I have too scsi disks. First internal (id 0), second external (id 6).
Linux is on the external one.
Well when i have lilo set on the mbr, at boot time, instead of having
the Lilo prompt, i get 10 10 10 10 10 10 ....
I'm fairly certain the BT-542B will only make Target ID's 0 and 1 available as
"BIOS disks".
I have tried to change the id of the second disk from 6 to 1 to see if
something changes. It changes, but as a result the computer hangs !!
(same for id 2 and 3, but 10 10 10 with 4 5 6)
Of course the computer boots perfectly with lilo on a boot floppy :-(
( and in all configs too)
I am really stuck. Any idea ?
I'm afraid I'm not that experienced with LILO. I've certainly booted Linux
using LILO successfully from a Target 0 disk using a BT-542B.
