Using Linux 1.3.9 and 1.3.10,
I get a panic 'No device found in allocate_device' about 50% of the
time when I unmount the only filesystem on my 128MB Magneto Optical
Drive.
Relevant hardware: P90 PCI/ISA motherboard, ADAPTEC 1542C ISA SCSI
controller (very slow combination: about 800kB/sec).
If I can do anything to pinpoint the problem, please send me E-mail.
Regards,
Rob Hooft.
