Not that what Phil said was wrong, I just found it much easier to
compile aha152x support as a module, and seeing that rc.sysinit (on
my RH4.2 system) contained the following:
# Load modules (for backward compatibility with VARs)
if [ -f /etc/rc.d/rc.modules ]; then
/etc/rc.d/rc.modules
fi
I just created an rc.modules with the following:
# Insert module for ZipZoom (aha152x)
modprobe aha152x aha152x=0x140,9
Yeah sure, my ZipZoom is a 1502E, but it's the same driver. This took
hardly anytime at all. And I didn't have to muck with kernel makefiles.
YMMV, but this works for me.
