Leonard and list:
Hopefully this is a stupid question that is easily solved for which the
list will not mind me asking in this forum:
I recently upgraded from 2.0.30 to 2.0.33 and also patched my Buslogic
driver to 2.0.12. I compiled Buslogic SCSI support into the kernel--not
as a module. Now, when I boot, I get this message amongst the scsi
messages:
scsi_unregister: wrong version or undefined
__brelse: wrong version or undefined
bread: wrong version or undefined
scsi_mark_host_reset: wrong version or undefined
scsi_register: wrong version or undefined
Loading failed! The modules symbols (from linux-2.0.30) don't match your 2.0.33
What's the deal? I've recompiled and installed new kernels before,
modules and all, and I've never had this weirdness.
