  Hello,

Can anyone shed some light on the possible behaviour of BusLogic 930
(FlashPoint LT), with the 2.0.11 driver put in 2.0.33 kernel, while under
SMP? The reason for question is this - it runs perfectly under non-SMP
kernel; under SMP I get lockups. Lockups are more or less spontaneous
but tend to coincide with tape or CD-ROM (both SCSI, of course) activity.

My wild guess is that BusLogic SCCB manager code is not SMP-safe, but I
would like to see more qualified opinion.

I have three FlashPoint LW's in my dual Pentium Pro 200 with file systems
striped across the controllers. I have had no SMP related crashes since one of
my earlier deadlock patches last summer. I do not believe there is any code in
the SCCB Manager which can lead to an interrupt deadlock in 2.0.
