I have installed Linux Redhat v5.0 on a P133 with an IDE and SCSI
drive (SCSI controller - Adaptec AHA-294x/AIC-78XX PCI SCSI
controller with a Conner CFP10602 1.05 GB). The SCSI is BIOS
detecte (Adaptec AHA-2940 BIOS v1.16). During installation the SCSI
drive is detected and set up correctly at the SCSI bus scanning stage
and I was able to partion, format and write to it. During normal
bootup the message
scsi : 0 hosts
is given (during installation as well) and I cannot acces this drive.
Using Win95 Device Manager it appears to me that the SCSI controller
uses memory
000C8000h-000CA7FFh and and F200000-F2000FFFh. The DOS debug
command,
'debug
-d c800:0'
gives the following:
-d c800:0
