Hello,
This may be a tad premature, given Doug Ledford's post yesterday
regarding the aic7xxx-5.0.5 patch release, but I am essentially feeling
the waters. There are at least two monster dual PII/440LX based boards
that I know of that have tons of integrated hardware (SCSI, ethernet)
built into the mobo - Tyan Thunder2 and Intel DK440LX. From Doug's
post, it sounds like the Thunder might not be worth the hassle, given
its poor implementation. Does the same issue (IRQ misuse) apply to the
Intel DK440LX? I've seen a few posts from some individuals out there
that indicated they were planning on using that board. Any takers on
testing the patch with the DK440LX, or will I be the first?
