I'm not quite sure whether this should go on linux-tape or linux-scsi, but
since I never see messages about scsi tape units on the tape list, I'm
posting my question here.
I have a Wangtek 6200-HS DAT drive, which can run in both fixed block size
mode and variable block size mode. I boots up into the fixed block size
mode.
I can easily go from fixed to variable block size mode, by saying "mt
setblk 0", but how do I make it go back into the fixed block size mode,
save for rebooting the machine (an unelegant solution)?
Will "mt setblk 10240" do the right thing?
Thanks in advance,
Kai
