Yes, Adaptec PCI, NCR PCI.
you should have alteast 1.2.x, I go for 1.2.10 or 1.2.11
for the adaptec 2940(W) you will need patchs from
ftp.ims.com:/pub/Linux/aic7xxx/(and whatever the newest date is, there
also slackware boot disks there)
for the NCR cards(Onboard) it's in kernel, but has warnings with
compiling the kernel and is know to have problem with more then one drive
and disconnection. I have both, and in testing the Adaptec is MUCH faster
then the NCR, but Adaptec cost more.
