There is a z53c80 but no z53c800. There is an ncr5380 driver and an ncr53c8xx
driver.
Are you using the ncr5380 driver? Did you read the README.g_NCR5380 file
regarding boot parameters?
I have tried the ncr5380 driver with 53c400 extentions and cannot get it
even detect my card, based on an ncr53c400, so hope you have better luck.
