Running 1.1.74, file accesses (ie, cat <filename>) to files on a CD-ROM
return an I/O Error rather than the file contents. To confuse the issue,
directory references (cd, ls, etc.) seem to work fine.
Rebooting with 1.1.59 made the files readable again.
System:
no-name Pentium motherboard
Future Domain 1670 (ISA) SCSI host adapter
Teac CD-50 CD-ROM drive
If it matters, the CD-ROM in question (there may be others; I haven't
checked yet) was the InfoMagic Linux Developers Resource, Oct '94, disc
2.
