Shouldn't be a problem.  The 2940U only has a 50 pin connector; the 2940UW
(more expensive!) sports 68 and 50 pin connectors.  Do you want me to dig
out the changes I put in the fdomain driver?  It may work for you; I use
it for tape, because IDE and UltraIDE disks are so cheap at the moment.
