Recommendations for SCSI Host ... ?

Greetings,
After a negative experience with an Adaptec and a CD - Writer (anyone want
a large gold coffee mat?) I have decided to head down the Buslogic route
(following many positive comments from the newsgroups).
Before I buy, are there negative/positive comments about these Hosts? I'm
planning on ordering a Mylex BT-958 (PCI wide ultrascsi). This card will
be handling a Matshita CD, Yamaha CDR100 CD writer, and two Quantum
Fireball 4.3Gb drives. I'm also planning on an Iomega Zip drive. Any
caveats with that bunch?
Any comments or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
