Hi

I'm desperate to know how to make my machine recognise my
2048-bytes-per-sector (640mb) MO disks under Linux. I'm currently
using kernel 2.0.30, and have no such problems when I try to access
files or create partitions on my 512-byte-per-sector (230mb) disks.
I've been digging around for some time trying to find a solution to
this but to no avail. I also (unfortunately) use Windoze OSR2 and
encounter no such problems under that with the standard SCSI drivers.

My SCSI system:

PCI Adaptec AHA-2940U SCSI card
Mitsubishi 640mb MO drive

Is there anyone who can help me out?

Jack Lindsay
