Hi there. I have a SCSI host that I want to get working under Linux. I
was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have heard that the 53c90 is not
compatible with 53c80/53c8xx based cards. There is a driver in the standard
Linux kernel that supports the chipset (Called esp, for Enhanced Scsi
Processor) but it seems to be written for the Sun platform. I have DOS
drivers and source code for some sort of driver for the chipset, but haven't
made either work so far, and don't quite feel up to the challenge of writing
my first Linux driver...
Additionally, I don't know the true base address of this card, just the
last two hex digits that are printed next to each jumper.
Well, that's what I know about the problem. If you can help I'd appreciate
your input.
