Hi,
I decided to resinstall linux with the SCSI card and the Jaz Drive
since I couldn't get linux to recognize them by changing the
configuration files. During the installation, the Jaz Drive partition
was recognized and formatted (I had a Jaz disk inserted). Ane
everything went smoothly until rebooting. I got the exact same error
message as before when I tried to use modprobe.
scsi0: Advansys SCSI 1.5: PCI (16 CDB): BIOS0, IO 7F00-7F0F, IRQ 11
scsi: 1 host

Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi removable disk sda at scsi0, channel0, id4, lun
Attempt to allocate device channel 0, target 4, lun0
Kernel panic: No device found in allocate_device
What do I do now? Any ideas?
