Linux drivers for MegaRAID controller?

A kind soul in the RedHat linux mailing list (redhat-list@redhat.com)
directed me to this list (linux-scsi@vger.rutgers.edu) in response to
my request for help finding drivers for a MegaRAID controller in Linux.

We recently purchased some Dell Poweredge quadprocessor 6100's and 4200's.
They have internal, hardware-raid MegaRAID controllers and 12 GB of space.
I'd *really* like to run RedHat Linux on one of them, but I can't find a
driver for the MegaRAID controller. Dell said that as recently as three
weeks ago they were unable to find linux drivers for another customer with
the MegaRAID controller.

Can someone direct me to the necessary drivers, or if not, could someone
suggest possible means for getting someone to write them? I've never
been in a position to ask for drivers to be written before (and it's
not often that someone drops a 12 GB SCSI system in my lap and says I
can put whatever I want on it. ;) ), so I don't really know what routes
there are for getting drivers written.

I simply don't have enough time at the moment to watch this list or the
redhat list closely, so I'd appreciate at least a copy of any responses,
and I will summarize responses that I get to this list.

Thanks sincerely in advance,
Trever Furnish,
