CLARiiON Disk arrays

Has anybody used these Data General disk arrays with Linux?  Can Linux
take advantage of some of the fancy features (or does that require DG's
own software??).  As far as I can tell they can simply sit on a SCSI
bus and look like a normal (ok, RAID) disk... assuming it isn't using
fiber channel.
