You didn't say what kernel, or include your boot messages (boot
with the verbose switch), or indicate your bus config (ie. what's
where on the cables, what's terminated, what's supplying TERMPWR,
what's using TERMPWR, etc.). It is a good idea to supply lots of info,
and a few error messages, rather than to supply lots of error messages.
