And noise.

I use the scsi-idle patch (adapted to 2.0.27) since a _long_ time
with _absolutely_ no problems (using it since 2.0.27
is out, or almost). I use it with IBM and seagate drives and the
ncr53c810 driver. Most of the time, two of the three of my
SCSI drives are off.

NB: with the so-called `BSD' version of the same driver, ie the
one which is proposed when you say no to the first, I got
*a lot* of problems during the only day I tried it.
