I've called Quantums technical support line today & got back
a very interesting story that 300X is the latest for this
Model ( Mine is: p/n tm21s011rev.04-d ), which seems to be
the same as below .
Is the 301B possibly for the IDE interface version ?
No, 301B is definitely for the SCSI version. I've asked my contact at Quantum
to check into this. I tested 301B in a loaner drive from Mylex/BusLogic back
in April so I assumed the newer firmware version was publically available by
now.
