I am going to develop a Linux driver for a METRUM VLDS tape unit. It is
provided with a SCSI-I interface, which seems to be compatible at hardware
level with my 2940UW PC SCSI-I card. in my opinion ths driver could be
developed by interfacing the scsi generic interface provided by Lnux. Metrum
provided me, as an example, with C sources of a similar VLDS driver which
uses ASPI lib in the MS-DOS environment. Did anybody already afford my
current task? Comments and suggestions are actually appreciated! (I
apologize if you already received this message, but I am not shure that my
POP was working good last few days ...)
andrea.
