I just picked up a Intel Storage Express unit (486, 16M memory, Tape Backup
unit) and I am looking to set it up with Linux. It is an EISA based system.

The onboard chipset is a 53c700 (visually inspected). It has the main hard
drive (C: drive), and two tape units connected.

It is using the standard IO for the hard drive controller (Int 14, BIOS C800,
etc).

When I try to load the module (53c7,8xx.o), it tells me that there is no board
installed. I am using the RedHat installation.

I looked through the code to make sure that in theory it should support it and
I believe it should.

Can someone give me an update as to what might need fixing to get this running?
