Hi!
Interesting news for me. I have a similiar problem too:
Configuration:
EIDE Segate with:
OS2-bootmanager
-> DOS
-> LINUX
SCSII 2940
- SCSII Quantum fireball
- JAZ
Now comes the problem:
On the SCSII drive there is a LINUX partition and I like to boot
alternately from that partition or from the LINUX part. from EIDE. I
installed LILO on the SCSII devive and let LILO point to that partition.
The theme is like that:
1. os2 manager boots dos directly from hda
2. os2 man. points to LILO on the same (EDIDE-drive) and boots than with
delay 0 LINUX.
Now I want LILO (EIDE-drive) point to LILO (SCSII-device) to be able to
boot LINUX from EIDE or SCSII.
By trying I got the same error message:
"Must specify LOADER for BIOS device 0x81"
I tried the loader any_d.b but it doesn't work --> LI and hanging of the
system.
I like to say, that I have a zImage on / of SCSII device and LILO points
to that image, when it is called by LILO from EIDE device.
I think, no, I am shure, that this should work. So I must have made an
error, but which one ?
