It is my understanding that the internal 50-pin port is only there for
backward compatibility with CDROMs etc. that don't commonly grok wide SCSI.
You could run a cable from the 50-pin port to a plate in the back panel, but
bear in mind that you *must* not use all three ports on the controller
simultaneously - you're only allowed to use a maximum of two ports at once.
Another "solution" (most would classify it a hack) is to use one of those
little wide-to-narrow adapter thingies. Be careful with it though, as you
can end up with the high 8 bits of your wide bus unterminated. Also those
adapters tend to look like a tee fitting which is a major-league no-no.
