G'day all:
I have an HP netserver LH which I am trying to install Linux on but
which I am
having a tremendous amount of trouble with!
It has 2 SCSI adapter hosts (both AIC7850s). I boot up with the custom
aic7xxx
boot image diskette I got from Red Hat's ftp site. Everything works
fine
until this:
scsi: detected 1 SCSI cdrom 4 SCSI disks
sda: unsupported sector size 620756992
scsi: deleting disk entry
sdb: unsupported sector size 620756992
scsi: deleting disk entry
.
.
.[same thing for sdc and sdd]
.
.
Partition Check:
sda: <0>Kernel Panic: No device passed to allocate_device()
And it hangs right there....
What is the matter? Unsupported sector size? Why is it deleting the
disk entry? What to do after this? Help someone please!
TIA.
