No. However, ASPI is merely a toolkit to send arbitrary SCSI commands to
arbitrary connected devices.
And yes, of course you can also do that under linux and probably much more
comfortable. There is a SCSI-Programming-HOWTO (somewhere under linux doku
on zillions of ftp servers) and also the sources of
scsiinfo and/or other tiny SCSI tools like load/unload or eject will
show you how to send SCSI commands to your plotter.
